Hi friend,
Let me guess... you're busy?!
So that means you don't have time to waste on inefficient money management tasks, right?
In today's episode I share with you 3 things I'd automate first to save you time (and brain space.) Plus I share why you want to focus on these 3 things first.
Here's a recap of the episode:
1. Savings (and investments if you're investing)
2. Debt payoff
3. Any recurring bills
And the biggest take away of all is you need to know your numbers to know exactly how much you can put towards savings or debt, and to know you can set up your bills on autopay and have the money in your account to pay them.
If you need help with that, I'll be dropping 1:1 budgeting session openings in the Money Mindful Moms Club next month. These are sessions where you and I can do a deep dive into your numbers together and I can help you map out a plan based on your goals. Make sure you're in the club to grab one of the open spots.
Cheers to saving time (and precious mental real estate)
xo,
<3 Krista

Hey friend!
Listen, I will never be the one to use fear tactics to motivate you to make changes with your finances. But I will unapologetically tell you that burying your head in the sand and hoping for the best isn't the move either.
I'll shoot you straight... you need a side hustle. An additional income stream. More money, honey. Whatever you want to call it.
There's a lot up in the air right now in the world and I am really hoping everything falls into place, and if it does, then you'll just be further along towards your goals with the extra money you started making.
But if it doesn't, you'll need this money and you'll be so glad you have it.
So where to begin even choosing something? In this episode I give you 3 questions to ask yourself to help you figure it out.
1. What do people compliment you on?
2. What hobbies do you have that you could monetize?
3. What things are you already doing in your day-to-day that you could monetize?
We just scratched the surface in this episode but next month in the Money Mindful Moms Club we'll be diving in fully to the topic of increasing your income so I hope you'll join us in the club!
Love you. Mean it. Glad you're here.
xo,
<3 Krista

Hey Friends!
I'm so excited to be back today for a solo episode with a quick pep talk. Have you ever felt like money just isn't your thing because it doesn't come naturally to you? Maybe you have watched people win with money and thought how the heck do they do that?
First of all, you're not alone.
But most importantly, you can change that. And in today's episode I share how I was recently reminded by watching someone win on social media that the answer is probably a lot closer than you think.
Believing in you!

*** This Podcast is NOT financial advice. It is simply for educational purposes***
Have you ever seen homesteading accounts and wondered if you could try to do some of those things to save money, but the more you look into it, the more overwhelmed you get?
I have always been intrigued by the idea of saving money by making some things from scratch, but I don't have the time or money to be all in on in like I see a lot of homesteaders are.
When I first listened to Brittany Gibson's podcast where she shares about her Homestead Challenge, I knew I had to have her on the podcast because she teaches doable homesteading principles geared towards intentional living and finding contentment.
In this episode Brittany shares:
- How homesteading can save you money.
- What to start with if you're limited on time and money.
- How to incorporate this into your lifestyle when you have young kids.
And Brittany was so nice to share some of her resources with us:

Are you waiting to work on paying off debt, or getting your spending habit under control, or finally starting to save for the house you've always wanted?
Is waiting really the best move?
Maybe.
But there's one question you can ask yourself to find out. I shared this quote from a podcast episode from my friend Alexis Greco of The Rhythm Reset Podcast.
Assuming it takes around 90 Days to achieve a goal and right now we're in January she said "are you ok with being the same person in April?"
Sometimes the answer my be yes because you have more important things to focus on. But oftentimes, no.
You can listen to that episode of The Rhythm Reset Podcast HERE
If the idea of being in the same place financially come April makes your skin crawl, I want to invite you to join the Money Mindful Moms Club!
